It was well known that there was bad blood between those two neighbors and in the recent past the police had intervened to calm things down. On Saturday lunchtime, however, the heated tones became threats, uttered among other things in the courtyard of the house in the presence of witnesses, and this time the police also proceeded with the complaints. This sparked yet another argument in the condominium of terraced houses in a street in the neighborhood Pedagna, it was a poorly done parking lot. One of the residents, a 47-year-old from Imola, had hit that of his neighbor’s father-in-law while parking his car.

The man who saw his car hit called his relative, a 48-year-old, to defend him, and this is how the furious argument broke out between the two almost the same age. The family member of the person who had suffered the damage was threatened by the person who had caused the damage, primarily with a woman canister. With that she would have smashed his face, but – the more irate of the two would have said – it would have been better for him to finish it because he also had a gun in the house. Few words to the wise. An actually explicit threat uttered even in the presence of the children of the threatened person, who at that point called the police. When the police arrived at the scene they found the victim who told his story. The officers then rang the doorbell of the perpetrator of the alleged threats, who lives with his mother in the same condominium. The latter admitted that he had argued with his neighbor and when asked about the presence of the weapon he remembered, so he said, that he had a gun in the house that had belonged to his father and his grandfather.

At that point the house search was started and one was found in a drawer of the dresser Beretta with also a supply of bullets, partly in the magazine not inserted. The gun appeared to have been registered in 1951 by the 47-year-old’s grandfather, and then belonged to his father, who died about twenty years ago, but over time no one had regularly reported his possession. The complaint for aggravated threats against the 47-year-old was therefore automatically filed, and he will have to answer together with his retired mother with whom he lives, also for illegal possession of a firearm.
