A2 OFFICIAL – Bolzano and coach Sacchi part ways

The Basket Club Bolzano thanks coach Roberto “Cico” Sacchi, who after six years of great commitment and dedication, will undertake new challenges.
At this time we want to share our sincere appreciation for what he has done for our team and our history.
Six seasons lived together intensely on the field and in human relationships.
In our basketball journey together, the reason why he left his Pavia and arrived in Bolzano, we started again with the youth teams, we went through a pandemic and finally we returned to play a playoff.
After six seasons full of challenges, successes, defeats and personal growth, the time for new adventures has come for him. In saying goodbye to him, we want to thank him from the bottom of our hearts for everything he managed to convey through his passion and profound professional competence.
Looking back over these years, we realize how much we shared together under Cico’s passionate guidance. We laughed, we cried, we sweated, and we celebrated every victory, big or small, united as a family.
Together we experienced the euphoria of success on the field, we revitalized our youth program, and we brought Serie A back to the playoffs.

The journey will continue in the memory of the sporting results achieved together and in the bond of affection and esteem for the person created in recent years.
In saying goodbye to Cico we want to express our deepest thanks for his work and professionalism. The paths diverge, the friendship will remain over time.
Dear “Cico, our wish is that in your future there will be the success and happiness you deserve. The Basket Club Bolzano will remain your home.”

The company’s commitment to growing its academy continues and whoever succeeds Cico will be a person ready to embrace this mission, focusing strongly on young athletes to help them grow and continue with the commitment of Serie A in Bolzano. As history has told for more than 30 years, with ability, determination and trust.
