The recipe also includes rhubarb, vanilla pods and cinnamon
The Bitter del Lago Tassoni comes from a recipe from the ancient Tassoni spice shop and is based on the careful combination of selected bittering botanicals with the infusion of Cedro Diamante from Calabria, the father of all citrus fruits to which Tassoni is strongly linked.
Among the ingredients selected by the master herbalist Tassoni, the following stand out: colombo, a root from South Africa, with an intense yellow color capable of giving a particular spiciness to the bitter note, dried rhubarb and mace, the flower of the highly prized nutmeg. To soften the bitter and give a more complex organoleptic impact, the recipe also includes vanilla pods and cinnamon.
The elegant bottle accentuates and enhances the color of the Bitter del Lago, which stands out for its vibrant shades of ruby red. Its surface is rough and shiny, characterized by a “citrus peel” design that identifies the entire Tassoni collection.
The Bitter del Lago Tassoni, intended for audiences aged 18 and over, with its 25 degrees is ideal for the best mixing and, with the iconic Cedrata Tassoni, creates the inimitable BitterTass, the lake aperitif par excellence.

The master herbalist Tassoni, a new alchemist of the 21st century
The new Bitter del Lago – available from the end of May in the best venues and on the Enoteca Lunelli e-commerce platform (enotecalunelli.com) – is added to the Tassoni Mixology collection, completing the range intended to stimulate the creativity of bartenders. Proposals born from the centenary experience and attention to the quality of the ingredients, as well as for the distilled Dry Gin Superfine Tassoni, the signature gin created with the world champion Bruno Vanzan, and the line of new mixers, created with the best materials raw, exclusively natural, and characterized by an unmistakable Italian style.
The entire collection has been renewed with the contribution of the master herbalist Tassoni, the 21st century alchemist who, with continuous experimentation and profound knowledge of the best natural raw materials, has created ideal mixers for increasingly advanced mixing: from the aperitif after dinner.

Simone Masè: «The new Tassoni era in the field of mixology»
«We are continuing the work of refining the range that began last year, with the inauguration of the new Tassoni era, aiming for ever greater refinement in both taste and packaging, with particular attention to the area of mixology. For this reason, for the launch of our latest product, the Bitter del Lago, we have chosen to debut at the Roma Bar Show by offering an Italian super alcoholic drink perfect for creating, with cedrata, a distinctive cocktail: the BitterTass, the aperitif of the Lago di Tassoni» says Simone Masè, Tassoni CEO and general manager of the Lunelli Group.
«The ease of preparation makes the BitterTass an aperitif within everyone’s reach, without giving up the best quality and controlled origin of the ingredients which are the fundamental elements for those who choose Tassoni and want to stand out with iconic and recognizable Italian labels.»
