PERUGIA – As part of the Agreement signed between the Italian Post Office, the Ministry of the Interior and the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy, the service was also launched in the province of Perugia, within the “Polis” project, which starting from tomorrow in the municipalities of Bastardo, Lisciano Niccone, Magione, Passo di Bettona and Tuoro sul Trasimeno, it will allow citizens to submit applications for the issuance of a passport also at the Poste Italiane counters, without the need to go to the police station or the police stations of PS

The Polis project is part of the projects implemented with PNRR funds and co-financed by the State with the aim of bringing the Public Administration closer to the citizen, making the services provided by the administrations accessible in digital mode through proximity desks.

Thanks to the “Polis” project, in fact, users of the aforementioned municipalities will be able to directly request the release of the document for expatriation from the operator of the nearest post office, to whom, after having paid the slip for the ordinary passport of the sum of 42.50 euros, you will have to submit a valid identity document, your tax code, a photograph and a tax stamp.

At the Poste Italiane counters it will also be possible for the operator to collect the citizen’s information and biometric data (fingerprints and photos), which will subsequently be sent to the Police Headquarters for the issuing of the expatriation document.

In the event of a new issue, however, the citizen will also have to hand over the old passport or the copy of the report of loss or theft of the old document to the Post Office operator.

The citizen, at the time of the application, will also be able to request delivery of the document to his home thanks to the Poste Italiane service.
