The Sailing Journal

The Sailing Journal is a highly specialized magazine in the nautical sector. It is the point of reference for sailing enthusiasts, who practice it or who wish to get closer to that world. In the May issue the magazine draws up the top 20, the national ranking of the “perfect ports for keeping the boat or stopping off on holidays”, because “we need to make tourists stay along the country, welcoming them in the best possible way in high-level facilities”. Among the 20 Italian ports chosen and recommended, one is located in Gallura, and precisely it is the tourist port Cala dei Sardi which is located at the entrance to the sheltered Cugnana fjord.

The tourist port Marina Cala dei Sardi

The Marina Cala dei Sardi is a floating structure built in an ecological way, with breakwater pontoons and breakwaters that dampen the natural wave motion. With the choice of these materials we wanted in particular to respect the beautiful seabed and the transparency of the water, and we also wanted to avoid modifying the sea currents. The port is equipped with every comfort and is located in one of the most beautiful settings in Gallura. The capacity is approximately 140 seats for boats from 6 to 60 meters with a maximum draft of 6.8 m.

The presence of luxury boats in this area not only brings direct economic benefits, but also contributes to enhancing the natural and cultural heritage of the region, attractive to a demanding international clientele. Thanks to the presence of modern and equipped ports, Gallura is confirmed as a popular destination for lovers of the sea and sailing, offering high quality services and the possibility of leisure and relaxation in a unique setting in the world.

The constant growth of berths and the presence of superyachts are positive indicators for the local economy, which sees the nautical sector as a source of development and job creation. A success that rewards the efforts made to enhance and promote nautical tourism in this splendid corner of Sardinia.
