Gallura, which represents 10% of the regional territory, based on data from Cipnes has 37.5% of berths overall. This data attributes to the ports of Gallura the leading role in nautical tourism, with great satisfaction for the local economy. At the municipal level, Olbia it is the first port in terms of number of berths, with 2,441 in total, of which approximately 630 Porto Rotondo and 300 a Cugnana/Marina di Portisco. They follow Arzachena with 700 seats, Saint Teresa Gallura with 650 e Palau with 552 seats. There are 317 places reserved for superyachts – boats more than 25 meters long – in Gallura.

According to data from Genoa for yachting reworked by Cipnes Gallura, in fact, the presence of one yachts between 36 and 50 meters generates an economic impact of 6,397 euros per day; one between 51 and 74 meters it is worth 18,843.00 euros per day; one between 75 and 89 meters produces 45,150.00 euros/day; one of approximately 90 meters (such as the EYE, 87 metres, docked since 1 May at the Olbia Marina – worth 160 million dollars) impacts 40,302.00 euros/day. Respectable numbers that confirm the key role of Gallura in the nautical and tourism sector.

The Marina Cala dei Sardi is a floating structure built in an ecological way, with breakwater pontoons and breakwaters that dampen the natural wave motion. With the choice of these materials we wanted in particular to respect the beautiful seabed and the transparency of the water, and we also wanted to avoid modifying the sea currents. The port is equipped with every comfort and is located in one of the most beautiful settings in Gallura. The capacity is approximately 140 seats for boats from 6 to 60 meters with a maximum draft of 6.8 m.
