Lamezia Terme – “With deep resentment and indignation, the residents of the Sambiase Hospital district continue to denounce the terrible conditions in which the streets of the neighborhood find themselves”. Thus, a citizen reports the situation of degradation but also of possible risks for the safety of motorists and pedestrians. Complaints from residents about large potholes and degraded asphalt come from many parts of the city. Not only peripheral or side streets areas but also central ones, such as Via Marconi where the road surface appears to be rough and patched in some sections. Thus citizens appeal to the competent bodies to draw attention to an emergency that can no longer be postponed.
In particular, as a citizen points out, the road system of the Ospedale district is “linked to roads transformed into a sieve and in many sections at the limit of passability”. As the photos also document, the traffic situation becomes a central issue for the safety of citizens. Hence yet another appeal from citizens to the municipal administration, to intervene “with absolute priority in restoring traffic, which is essential to remedy inherent danger factors, as well as reduce the inconvenience for all citizens living in the area”.
