The candidate for the European Parliament supported by the entire moderate center-right of Velletri: “It is imperative to work for future generations”
“It is imperative that we work to ensure an equitable and sustainable recovery, protecting the environment for future generations and strengthening international cooperation to address global challenges.” This was declared last Saturday during the inauguration of her electoral committee in Velletri by Tiziana Pepe, candidate for the European elections with Forza Italia.
During the event the candidate indicated the salient points of her political commitment: the protection of the family, support for the vulnerable and the elderly, the promotion of post-pandemic economic recovery, the fight against climate change, the defense of values Europeans and strengthening security.
And then again: the promotion of common defense and security, the encouragement of freedom of enterprise, the simplification of bureaucracy for the benefit of companies and citizens, the strengthening of the healthcare system, the defense of private property, investments in energy and infrastructure, the promotion of responsible environmentalism, support for agriculture and fishing, and the reform of European treaties.
Alongside the candidate were the big names of the moderate center right of Velletri: Salvatore Ladaga group leader of Forza Italia, Gianni Cerini and Lamberto Trivelloni respectively secretaries of Rinascita Veliterna and Patto Popolare. And then the hon. Salvatore De Meo, FI MEP candidate for the European Parliament, the Regional Councilors Fabio Capolei and Giorgio Simeoni, the mayor of Velletri Ascanio Cascella.
“This day – added Tiziana Pepe referring to the inauguration of the committee – represents an important step towards building a stronger, united community oriented towards a future of progress and prosperity. With the Moderate Polo, we embrace an opportunity for positive change and growth, based on values of solidarity, responsibility and innovation”.
According to the intentions of the organizers, the electoral committee located on the Corso della Repubblica should be a place of coordination during the period preceding the vote and a permanent point of reference for supporters of moderate politics and the parties that are part of it: Forza Italia, Veliterna Rebirth and Velletri Popular Pact.
