to the official Ciccio Graziani cut

FANO – The official ribbon cutting it is scheduled for Friday 21 June (the name of the international guest who will arrive in Fano is still top secret) but there is already a “mundial” preview on the calendar.

The Boomerang Rewind Festival 2024the event dedicated to the fabulous 80s and 90s, will officially open its doors on Thursday 20 June and will do so with Francesco “Ciccio” Graziani, world champion with Enzo Bearzot’s national team at the 1982 World Cup in Spain and subsequently coach, among other teams, of Cervia which between 2004 and 2006 kept many young and old people glued to the TV thanks to reality TV show “Champions – The Dream”.

«The 2024 edition – explain Emanuela Giorgi and Nicola Anselmirespectively artistic director and president of Onstage, the association that organizes the event -, scheduled from 20 to 23 June, coincides with the European Football Championships and we could only choose a better guest to launch the third edition of an event which has now entered the heart of Fano and is awaited, every year, by thousands of people not only from our city”.

Ciccio Graziani will go on Stage1 (main stage in Largo Seneca) Thursday 20 June, the day in which the European championship calendar includes the match between Luciano Spalletti’s national team and Spain and will follow the match together with the fans thanks to one of the two giant screens that will be set up for the occasion (the other will be located at Stage2, in Piazzale Amendola). Together with him there will be many other former footballers, local and otherwise, who have played on Serie A pitches, with whom Graziani, currently a Mediaset commentator, will comment on the match.

The presence of Graziani it will only be the first act of a very long series of events (the calendar of which is being defined) which, in addition to the entire seafront, will be concentrated in three key points of the Lido: the two stages, this year renamed Stage, of Largo Seneca and Piazzale Amendola and the PalApice, a sort of Palas positioned in the tent near the Levante pier.

«With each edition the enthusiasm grows – explains Nicola Ferri, organizational director of Boomerang – and this can be perceived from social media, on which for months we have already started an 80s and 90s themed campaign along the lines of television series or TV series like Friends or Forrest Gump, but also by talking to people, primarily the Lido operators who support us and encourage us every year to do better, giving us their contribution both in terms of ideas and money. The thousands of people who crowd along the Simonetti seafront for four days – he continues – create an impact for the entire system and we believe this is an added value for the entire city”.
