The Garibaldi nursery school in Umbertide inaugurates the Sensory Path

On the afternoon of Monday 13 May, the Garibaldi nursery school inaugurated its new Sensory Path and the outdoor park area, completely redeveloped thanks also to the goodwill, commitment and collaboration of some parents together with the teachers.

This event, which was attended by the Deputy Mayor of Umbertide with responsibility for Education, marks a significant moment in the school’s constant commitment to providing a stimulating and inclusive educational environment for its young students.
The Sensory Path has been carefully designed to offer students an immersive experience that encourages sensory exploration and creative play. Through a series of visual and tactile stimuli, children will be able to develop their cognitive and motor skills in a fun and safe environment.
The redevelopment of the external park area offers students a renovated outdoor space equipped with modern and safe facilities. This stimulating environment promotes outdoor play, encouraging children’s physical, social and emotional development.

The master of the Banda Città di Umbertide, Galliano Cerrini, was also present at the event, which saw great enthusiasm and participation, and directed his young students in an engaging performance. Furthermore, the school students sang some songs which cheered and moved everyone present.
The head teacher, Silvia Reali, commented: “We are thrilled to present our new Sensory Path and the redevelopment of the outdoor park area. These initiatives reflect our commitment to providing an educational environment that promotes the integral development of our students, encouraging creativity, exploration and well-being”.
