The facts date back to the month of February 2024 when for the third time a commercial business located inside the Barletta railway station suffered yet another theft by two young people who, after causing serious damage to the structures, once again managed to to remove most of the goods present in the public establishment. The subsequent investigations, coordinated by the Public Prosecutor’s Office at the Juvenile Court of Bari, allowed the Agents to reconstruct the entire dynamics of the crime and in a short time to identify the perpetrators as well as recover the entire stolen property and the ‘car stolen by the same perpetrators to reach the station and disappear immediately after the theft.
In fact, following a previous info-investigative activity it became known that the minors had a room at their disposal used as a storage area for stolen goods, exactly the place where the stolen goods were found which, once inventoried, were returned to the owner of the business. commercial.
The investigations carried out on the two minors, already reported several times to the Judicial Authority for other crimes and already drawn from the Oral Warning provision of the Police Commissioner of the Province of Barletta Andria Trani, as well as the provision of the so-called Daspo Urbano (DACUR) have made it possible to outline the individual criminal responsibilities so that the Judge for the Preliminary Investigations of the Public Prosecutor’s Office at the Juvenile Court of Bari accepted the requests of the Public Prosecutor in charge of the investigations, for the purpose of issuing a precautionary measure for the placement of minors in two different communities for minors available to the Judicial Authority and will have to answer for the crimes of aggravated theft and receiving stolen goods in competition as well as detention for the purpose of dealing drugs.
It should be noted that the position of the suspects is being examined by the Judicial Authority, keeping in mind that they cannot be considered guilty until a definitive conviction has been received.
