There was all this and much more in the 2024 edition of Ecoday in Viale Trento which for one day, last Sunday, was closed to traffic from morning to evening. Event now in its sixth edition organized by the Municipal Administration and born right at the beginning to raise awareness of environmental issues and how to experience the city and get to know many realities by walking calmly in the street which is normally the busiest in the city. Entertainment, games for children, food stands, zero kilometer food, theater shows, market, workshops, music. Asite focused on the recovery of micro-waste, giving gadgets to those who brought electronic objects to throw away, while the kids from the Montani institute created a workshop that showed how to sustainably recover precious materials, again from waste, through waste food, an occasion that is included in the calendar of the national festival of sustainable development and sees the Fermo school twinned with the Polytechnique of Montreal. And again, lots of sport with performances by Victoria Fermo, asd Energy dance (pizzica), Marca skating, Monia Gallucci who proposed the metabolic walk, sporting activities with Usa Fermo 2021, Solo Fermana who proposed visits to the Fermana museum and at the stadium. Show area with moments of fun thanks to the local companies Tiaeffe, Amici del Teatro Fermo, Gruppo Arco Fermo, Filodrammatica Firmum. Human table football for under 12s/ 13-18/ over 18s took part. There was also no lack of space dedicated to animals with the associations with Gazzoli kennel, Oasi felina and Leida, the La Rocca farm offered workshops for children on weaving, dyeing natural and wicker basketry.
