Work at security checks
Just a few days earlier, on Friday 10 May, the social account of the Marconi airport in Bologna had shared a video relating to the works in the area dedicated to security checks.
Furthermore, due to these interventions, the airport – through its website – reminds passengers to show up “at least 3 hours in advance of the flight departure time”.
The floor of the works includes:
- important infrastructure development works to improve the management of some areas of the Terminal, to support passenger and cargo traffic;
- Sustainability interventions, necessary to offset the operational impacts of the airport on the environment and to achieve carbon neutrality commitments by 2030;
- technological and process innovation interventions, aimed at creating a smart and digital airport, identifying concrete solutions to improve the customer experience and developing tools to support business and an agile organisation.
