Few opportunities for both in the first half even if the red and white took the lead right at the end with Cerbone. In the second half Perugia spread with goals from Merli, Dottori and Barberini, the latter with a brace. Latina’s equalizer in the last minute in Ancona decreed the elimination of the red and whites. Painless defeat for Mr. Raschi’s boys against Arezzo of the same age given the mathematical arrival at the playoff phase obtained in the previous days. The guests started off strong with three dangerous actions. Shortly afterwards, Perugia came close to scoring with Kroni. In the second half the red and whites started off strong, creating various scoring actions and in the 38th minute Castroreale got the penalty which he took it upon himself to take, the goalkeeper rejected it but Massi arrived on the rebound and scored the opening goal. In the final minutes, however, Arezzo turns the game around, first with Postiglione and then with Miniati.
