A more than convincing debut for Women Latina who smiles at the Gega Tournament on the first day of the Women’s group. After the first fragments of a balanced match, Prisco’s team manages to take the field and in the 5th minute they come close to taking the lead: Cosentino comes in from the left, attempts a left-footed shot, but only gives the illusion of a goal by taking the outside of the net. After three minutes another Nerazzurri opportunity: Sabella’s free-kick which ends up just over. Castelnuovese, however, is always present and in the 11th minute they mock the Pontine team: corner from the right and a shot in front of goal by Cesaroni which unlocks the match. Women Latina tries to react and after five minutes the equalizer arrives: misunderstanding of the defense of Plaza’s team, Costa comes in and scores the 1-1 with an empty goal. The last emotion of the first half is important: it is in fact De Girolamo who makes the overtaking move. The second half resumes with the Nerazzurri on top and it is a super Costa who scores the hat trick. Castenuovese tries to make the deficit less bitter but it is De Girolamo who scores the final 4-1 a few minutes from the end.
