New Competition Municipality of Florence 2024. A call for the recruitment of 28 nursery educator officials indefinitely. A subsequent deed will specify a possible division of positions between full-time (36 hours per week) and part-time (18 or 22 hours per week).
To participate, registration is required degree. In the following paragraphs, all the qualifications with which it is possible to participate will be listed, as well as indications on how to apply and how to best prepare to take the exams of the Municipality of Florence 2024 Competition for 28 Nursery Educators.

Kindergarten Educator Competition
The Manual was designed and created for those who are preparing to face the tests of public competitions to become a teacher/educator of new nursery schools. In particular, the tests tend to evaluate the candidates’ preparation on the following topics: – legislation and institutional aspects of the national legislation governing services aimed at children; – elements of developmental psychology, with particular reference to early and middle childhood; – communicative and relational processes; – pedagogical and didactic skills; – elements of childcare and paediatrics, with particular reference to children’s dietetics and exanthematous, epidemic and contagious diseases in the first year; – service charter and regulations of the municipal kindergarten of the Region in which the competition is announced. This manual focuses fully on these topics, and then broadens its gaze to the most recent neuro-didactic theories and educational strategies in new nursery schools; the study programs reflect the formulations of various pedagogists on the training itineraries, in order to provide candidates with adequate and overall preparation regarding the educational-didactic action. The second part of the text presents a section dedicated to administrative law, public employment and the organization of local authorities. This is followed by a part dedicated to the written test with a selection of topics covered, useful for the candidate, an appendix dedicated to the regulations for nursery schools following Covid-19 and the bibliography. In the online section linked to the book the following are available: – English language quizzes; – computer science theory and quizzes; – regulatory updates; – quiz simulator. The text is updated to the pedagogical guidelines for the «zerosei» integrated system (DM 334/2021) and to the recent national guidelines for educational services for children (DM 43/2022). Municipality of Florence Competition 2024, 28 Nursery Educators: requirements
To participate in the competition the following general requirements are required:
- Italian citizenship or citizenship of another State belonging to the European Union, or non-EU citizenship, only where the conditions set out in the art. 38, paragraphs 1, 2 and 3-bis, of Legislative Decree 165/2001;
- age no younger than 18;
- psycho-physical suitability for employment;
- enjoyment of the right to active political electorate;
- not have had criminal convictions, with a final sentence for crimes that constitute an impediment to employment in a public administration;
- not have had any criminal convictions, even with a sentence that has not become final, for the crimes provided for in Chapter I, Title II, Book II of the Penal Code; not be in the conditions referred to in the articles. 10 and 11 of the Legislative Decree. 235/2012; not be subjected to measures restricting personal freedom;
- not have received criminal convictions for the crimes referred to in articles. 600-bis, 600-ter, 600-quater, 600-quinquies and 609-undecies of the Criminal Code, or the absence of disqualifying sanctions for the exercise of activities involving direct and regular contact with minors, in accordance with the provisions of art. . 2 of Legislative Decree no. 39/2014;
- not having been dismissed or exempted from employment in a Public Administration due to persistent insufficient performance; have not been declared dismissed from public employment, pursuant to sector regulations, or dismissed for the same reasons or for disciplinary reasons pursuant to current legal or contractual regulations, or declared dismissed for having obtained the appointment or hiring by producing false or tainted documents
incurable nullity; - regular position towards the compulsory military service (only for Italian male citizens born before 31 December 1985);
- not have failed to pass the probationary period in the professional profile of Nursery School Educator.
Candidates will also need to possess one of the following qualifications:
- Three-year degree in Educational Sciences in the L-19 class with a specific address for educators of educational services for children;
- Five-year single-cycle degree in Primary Education Sciences, integrated with a specialization course for a total of sixty university training credits;
- Three-year degree or specialist/master’s degree obtained in courses relating to pedagogical or psychological classes, provided that the course of study was started within the 2018/2019 academic year and the qualification was obtained within the education or training cycle required by current legislation ;
- First or second level Master’s degree concerning early childhood for those who have a degree in humanistic or social disciplines and have taken exams in psychological or pedagogical subjects, provided that the course of study was started within the academic year 2018/ 2019 and the qualification was obtained within the education or training cycle required by current legislation;
- Other equivalent or equivalent qualifications pursuant to law.
Alternatively, it is possible to participate with one of the following diplomas provided that it is obtained by 31 August 2018, together with the possession of a three-year degree or a specialist/master’s degree or an old system degree diploma other than those indicated above:
- high school diploma issued by the socio-psycho-pedagogical high school;
- high school diploma in human sciences, excluding the economic-social option;
- community leader diploma;
- equivalent qualifications recognized by the Ministry of Education, University and Research.
Municipality of Florence Competition 2024, 28 Nursery Educators: application
The application for participation can be sent exclusively electronically through the InPA Portal, by accessing this address via SPID, CIE, CNS or eIDAS. To participate, possession of a Certified Electronic Mail (PEC) address or a digital domicile is required, and the payment of a competition fee of 10 euros to be carried out following the instructions that will be provided when sending the application.
It will be possible to submit an application until 11.59pmJune 8, 2024.
Municipality of Florence Competition 2024, 28 Nursery Educators: tests
The selection will be divided into:
- Possible pre-selection test;
- Written test;
- Oral exam.
There pre-selective test will be carried out in the case of a high number of applications received. This will consist of multiple choice questions on the exam subjects, as well as psycho-aptitude, logical-mathematical and understanding of the Italian language. The first 400 candidates will take the written test, to which will be added the candidates who have obtained the same score as the candidate in the last available position.
There written test will consist of multiple choice questions on the subjects included in the programme
exam, and questions relating to the assessment of the ability to use the most widespread IT equipment and applications (word processing or calculation programs, e-mail, Internet). The test will be considered passed with a score of no less than 21/30.
There oral examfinally, it will consist of:
- in an interview on the subjects of the exam program – max 18.50 points;
- in situational tests and/or tests and/or individual and/or group motivational interviews aimed at ascertaining transversal skills – max 10 points;
- in the assessment of knowledge of the English language – max 1.50 points;
The oral test will also be considered passed with a score of no less than 21/30.
