The Minister of Agriculture spoke on the sidelines of the signing of the protocol with Intesa and Cdp on the agri-food sector

“Among the owls also the Quirinale? No, look, newspapers try to exploit the institutions”, like this Francesco Lollobrigida, on the sidelines of the signing of the protocol with Intesa and Cdp on the agri-food sector. During his speech, in fact, the Minister of Agriculture had referred to the “owls” who would have cheered against his implementation: “We have great trust in President Mattarella. When we manage to work in great harmony, as we do between the government and the Presidency of the Republic, it is always an extremely positive thing.”
Regarding exploitation, Lollobrigida also intervenes on drought case: “If you notice, in 18 months, no opposition political force has entered into the merits of the issues of agriculture, fishing and livestock farming”. The minister also returns to the slip-up of the last few days regarding Sicily: “When you work so hard you can even, in an attempt to answer the pressing questions you ask, make a few mistakes. We we love Sicily and we chose it to host the G7 because we consider it, in the agriculture and fishing sector, one of the most strategic regionsnot only of Italy, but of the whole of Europe, if not of the world”.
