BrianzAcque has reopened Viale Campania

BrianzAcque reopened Viale Campania di Monza today, May 13, just before 3pm. In this phase the artery will be passable with two-way traffic, along the two external lanes. The two power plants will remain closed to traffic. The measure is dictated by the need to continue preparatory investigations to a subsequent structural rehabilitation intervention to guarantee the safety of the collector, a hundred years old.

The reopening of Viale Campania to traffic, after the start of the works to manage an emergency which was reported on several occasions in the local press, was made possible following the conclusion of the emergency works carried out by BrianzAcque to restore the shoulder of the infrastructure, which collapsed on the night of December 31st.

In recent days, BrianzAcque in agreement with the Municipality of Monza, carried out the installation of the signs from the rotonda of San Fruttuoso up to the intersection with via Borgazzi, for a total of 1.2 kilometres. The redevelopment operation of the large 2 by 3 meter pipeline will affect the entire avenue. A new roundabout has been temporarily established at the intersection between viale Campania and via Philips to allow a further crossing point of the avenue in addition to those at the traffic light systems of via Lago Trasimeno and via Teano-Verbano-Tronto.
