Inspire through the founding values of sport.
This is the heart of the GEN26 Education Program, conceived by the Organizing Committee of Milano Cortina 2026 to share with girls and boys the path towards the next Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of Milano Cortina 2026 and to encourage future generations to engage in sport, to use it as a tool to transform their lives and improve that of an entire community.
“Milan Cortina 2026 in schools – The Winter Games for the new generations”, organized in collaboration with CONI, it is part of the GEN26 Education Program, the initiative that accompanies classes throughout Italy on the journey that will lead the country to the next Winter Olympics and Paralympics.
It develops through a cycle of meetings between male and female students of lower and upper secondary schools with a representation of the Milano Cortina 2026 Foundation team.
A new step was taken today in Potenza, at the Liceo Rosa – Gianturco.
The event involved male and female students aged between 16 and 17, to tell them about the project for the next Winter Games in 2026 and to convey the importance of the value of sport, also through the direct testimonies of Olympic and Paralympic athletes from Potenza Domenico Acerenza (Swimming) and Donato Telesca (Weightlifting).

A journey that touched several schools throughout the country during the school year.
In recent months several schools have expressed their willingness to be involved.
“Milano Cortina 2026 in schools – The Winter Games for the new generations” resumes its journey today from Potenza and will continue with many other events confirming that the 2026 Winter Olympics and Paralympics, embracing the entire national territory, will be the Everyone’s games.
