Treviso, Belluno, 13 May 2024. The Chamber of Commerce, pursuant to articles. 32,34 and following. Of the TU approved with RD 2011 of 09/20/1934, it is required to proceed with the periodic review of commercial uses and customs and the compilation of the relevant Provincial Collection.
The uses are sources of law which are referred to when a specific legislative regulation is missing or when they are expressly referred to. They originate from the general, uniform and constant repetition of behaviors observed in the conviction of complying with legally binding rules: with publication in the Official Collection of the Chamber of Commerce they are presumed to exist until proven otherwise. Collections include both regulatory and contractual uses.
The reference for local uses remains the territory of the province, due to the different vocation linked to geographical reasons, tradition and activities carried out by local communities, which made it necessary to start the revision procedure in the two territorial areas to which the previous Collections refer , i.e. the provinces of Belluno and Treviso.
What are they for?

They are applied in contractual relationships for aspects not expressly defined by the parties, as well as, being a source of law, they are relevant in the event of litigation for all economic operators and professionals in the legal area. It is therefore good to know them to simplify certain situations that may occur in the events of your professional and personal life. I thank our offices for the great work done because the review procedure of the uses is long and complex as the review operations began with the request for reports of the uses to all interested parties in the respective territories such as Municipalities, University Institutes, Professional and trade associations, other public bodies, etc. With the hope that the new 2023 collection of local uses represents a valid legal instrument for the regulation of markets, business and for the reduction of disputes and disputes, I renew the Chamber of Commerce’s commitment to supporting the local economy and for the development of the territories of competence.
The main innovations in the 2023 usage collections are the following:
– for the Treviso collection the introduction of a new part on the subject of pets, a topical issue and the updating of hotel uses, taking into account current legislation;
– for the Belluno collection the topics of review were the rustic funds and the mountain pastures on the one hand and the work services in the construction sector on the other hand, areas where changes were detected regarding the consolidation of new uses or the intervening desuetude.
As required by law, the Collections – 2023 edition – have been published on the chamber’s website and are available for free consultation on the dedicated web page:

Furthermore, the limited edition printing of the volumes of the two collections has been arranged for the interested Ministries, Courts, Bodies and Associations, which are being shipped in these weeks.
