Abruzzo Legality Roundtable, the second cycle of meetings starting today

After the feedback obtained in the first cycle of events in Abruzzo – in L’Aquila, Pescara, Chieti, Giulianova – the second Legality Roundtable starts today

This year’s edition was enriched with a series of themed games aimed at students. The first meeting took place today from 9.30 to 13.00 at the Tito Acerbo Technical Institute. Involved in the initiative are the president of the Abruzzo Region Marco Marsilio, the Bank of Italy, as leader, and the regional representatives of the Revenue Agency, the Financial Police and the Postal Police, with the support of the School Office Regional for Abruzzo.

The Legality Table in Economic-Financial Matters, established in 2023, is aimed at raising awareness among students of secondary schools in Abruzzo of the importance of respecting the rules and on topics such as corruption, extortion, money laundering of illicit origin, cyber risk, online scams, usury, counterfeiting and tax evasion.

Present, as Witnesses of Legality, were Giovanni Giuseppe Ortolani (director of the L’Aquila branch of the Bank of Italy), Simona Mascaro (head of the supervisory division of the L’Aquila branch of the Bank of Italy), Cecilia Tangredi (Guard of finance), Gian Mauro Placido (manager of the technical area of ​​the operations center for cyber security – Abruzzo Postal Police), Amedeo Scocco (head of the 2nd Financial Cybercrime section – Abruzzo Postal Police), Massimo De Masi (Revenue Agency), as well as, for the Abruzzo Region School Office, Professor Ada d’Alessandro.
