“We did – says the Tau Calcio coach – an exceptional performance by everyone against a strong team. We knew how to manage the moments. We struck at the right time and then we could have even increased the result in the second half and then we defended well without conceding big situations, except on free kicks where they are structured, but I would say that the boys were heroic, they were truly incredible, we just need to give them a big round of applause. We never start out beaten, we never start out with the fear of being beaten by someone.”
“We started these playoffs – continues Venturi – with the awareness that perhaps we are the ones who have the least to losebecause obviously all the other teams made big investments and everyone had the goal of winning though we want to go as far as possibleso we wanted to go all costs to the final and now that there is the final we will play it to try to win this playoffbecause I believe that for what they have done and given that these kids deserve it.”
“With Gavorrano it was important to start strong to put the match on the tracks we wanted – he concludes – We didn’t succeed and in the central phase of the first half Gavorrano came out with great qualities, great dribbling and important players for this category. We suffered but we showed that we have good players too. After this moment we are vTOout, we took the lead, in the second half we doubled the lead and we could have even conceded the third goal, in fact their 2 to 1 was almost a surprise because they were creating practically nothing.
