Stefano Cioffi, candidate for mayor with the Democratic Union list, outlines the main objectives of his administrative program which he is starting to share with the citizens. «We will conclude all the projects contracted by our administration and stopped since last July due to the wicked choices of those who put the future of our community in the background», says Cioffi. These projects, launched during the previous administrations led by him, are highly anticipated by citizens and will significantly contribute to the redevelopment of the entire area. «Conclude all the projects that have been stopped since July with the same determination that we have shown in recent years despite the strong complexity of the world events that have turned our way of life upside down. Precisely these latest events have caused strong variations, including economic ones, which have repeatedly forced us to carry out project variations causing important delays in the execution of the works and inconvenience for the entire community”, underlines the mayoral candidate from the Democratic Union list. One of the priority actions in Cioffi’s program and on his list is the completion of the water network, a key project that involves funding of around 5 million euros. This funding, the largest ever received by the Municipality of Macerata Campania, is intended for the construction of the new water network and the resurfacing of the road surface. «We have already completed approximately 60% of this work – explains Cioffi – Now we will have the task of accelerating the resumption of works by resolving the administrative problems with the previous contracting company». Furthermore, Cioffi announced that the electoral committee, located right in front of the municipal house, will be inaugurated this week. «This week the opening of the electoral committee to fellow citizens will be announced, it will be an opportunity to explain in detail the objectives we have set ourselves for the good of our community», concludes the mayoral candidate.
