The ranking was drawn up by Cwur (Center World University Rankings), based on the analysis of 20,966 universities and for Italy, in truth, the 2024 was not an exciting year given that the most universities lost ground compared to the previous year. La Sapienza University of Rome is the first Italian university, 124th place, but drops eight positions. In second place is the University of Padua, which loses two positions (173rd place), while the University of Milan drops six positions (186th place). After the University of Bologna, at number 201, we find the University of Turin in 245th place. The University of Eastern Piedmont also drops in the overall ranking: last year it was in 639th place.
