Three here and three there. The six “veterans” candidates for mayor of Civitavecchia, who will face each other in the elections scheduled for 8 and 9 June, have their own position on the ballot paper. This morning in the premises of the electoral office, at the registry office in Piazzale Santarelli, the traditional drawing of positions for the six contenders for the office of mayor and the lists connected to them took place.
In the ballot paper that will be delivered by the scrutineers in just under a month together with that for the renewal of the European Parliament, the voters of Civitavecchia will find at the top left the right-wing mayoral candidate, Massimiliano Grasso, supported by Fratelli d’Italia, from the Grasso List mayor, by the League, by Civitavecchia 2030 and by La Svolta. In second place on the left, voters will find Marco Piendibene, supported by the Pd, Unione Civica Piendibene mayor and Alleanza Verdi e Sinistra, while at the bottom, still on the left side of the ballot, there will be Vittorio Petrelli, supported by the Il Buon Governance list. On the right side of the ballot, at the top, voters will find the mayoral candidate Paolo Poletti, supported by the Lista Poletti mayor, Noi Moderati, Forza Italia and Uniti per Civitavecchia. In the center of the right side of the electoral sheet there will be Roberta Galletta, supported by the Lista Galletta mayor, while at the bottom right the five-starred Vincenzo D’Antò, supported by the Five Star Movement, from Civitavecchia Popolare will close the lot of candidates for the highest city office and from the D’Antò List. As already announced yesterday, the candidate for mayor of “Risorgimento Socialista”, Cristian Bufi, will not be present on the ballot, as he was not admitted because the documentation necessary for participation in the electoral consultation was presented late compared to the maximum allowed deadline.
