Ten photographers from the Carpi Photographers photographic group are exhibiting some of their shots in the exhibition that the Carpi association has set up inside the exhibition room of the Cassa di Risparmio Carpi Foundation in Corso Cabassi. The exhibition opened its doors yesterday with a small official ceremony and will remain open to the public until May 20th. Over fifty photographic works on display, with black and white or color shots, developed by the “amateur” photographers of the Carpi group: Gian Piero Ascari, Antonio Barretta, Rita d’Ambrosio, William Lugli, Marzia Martello, Mario Mazzurana, Giorgio Pinelli, Fabio Troni, William Sgarbi And Willer Varini.

In presenting the works (the exhibition is entitled “Architecture and figures”) there are those who have proposed images entirely from Carpi and those who have instead focused on alternative panoramas and places, those who have interpreted the world of electronics and those who have explored the lights and shadows. The presentation of the initiative also made use of evocative readings proposed by the “Sottovoce” group. The exhibition can be visited on Thursdays from 10am to 1pm, on Saturdays and Sundays and on holidays from 10am to 1pm and from 5pm to 8pm.
