”Today was a good workout, useful for breaking up the routine of these days a bit. We approached it in the right way, I had some good responses from the boys despite the fact that we have done a little more work in recent weeks. Little by little they are recovering and starting from next Monday we will start thinking about the debut match in the playoffs”.
On how the team is seeing in these weeks of waiting
“The boys are doing well, I asked for a lot of intensity which at the moment is the main aspect we need to focus on. We had some good sessions, maintaining a good pace and always remaining calm. Then, when we get closer to the match, we will start to think more about the details relating to the match.”
From the infirmary
”The conditions of Dametto, Lora, Siniega and Masala? We hope to reintegrate them into the group as early as Monday in order to have the group at their complete disposal. Are they at risk of missing their playoff debut? No, they should be available for the debut.”
On the team that surprised him the most during this first round of the playoffs
”Following the playoffs a bit, the team that impressed me the most is Atalanta Under 23. The Bergamo side have many smart guys in their ranks, well physically structured. They are certainly the ones I liked the most among those who played in the first round. For the rest, except for the exit of Crotone and Gubbio, the predictions were respected.”
