As part of the intensification of territorial control services prepared by the police commissioner of the province of Ragusa Vincenzo Trombadore, aimed at preventing crimes in general, with particular regarding drug crimesThe agents of the Flying Squad of the Ragusa Police Headquarters have reported a nineteen-year-old resident in Comiso, held responsible for the crime of possession of drugs for the purpose of dealing, in a state of freedom.
More in detail, in recent days, in Ragusa, around 11.30pm, the attention of the police officers of a Volante was attracted by a large engine car with 5 people on board which was proceeding from Via Zama towards Piazza Croce; at the sight of the steering wheel, the driver of the car increased the speed in order to evade the control while one of the passengers attempted to get rid of a wrapper by throwing it out of the car.
The police proceeded to check the car in question and its occupants as well as recovered the packaging that had been thrown out of the car; inside this package there were 52 grams of hashish; the narcotic substance was seized and the nineteen-year-old passenger who had tried to get rid of it was reported at liberty for the crime of possession for the purpose of dealing narcotic substances.
