TREVISO – Boy on bicycle hit by a car as he crossed over Stripes pedestrians. The accident occurred this morning, May 11, in via De Gasperion the long sile, near the bus station, and for a quarter of an hour paralyzed completely the traffic of the city centre: buses and cars queued from Via Roma to Piazza Vittoria until the rescue operations were completed.

The young cyclist was racing on the pavement, then crossed the road at the pedestrian crossing. Right here a car, busy turning, hit him squarely. Thrown from the saddle, he is fell to the ground, wound. Fortunately his condition is not serious. The Suem 118 medics gave him initial treatment on site and then transported him by ambulance to the Ca’ Foncello emergency room. The causes of the accident are now being examined by the local police, who intervened to investigate and regulate traffic.

The repercussions on the circulation: those who were especially affected were the Mom buses and coaches given the proximity to the station.
