It ended on Friday evening, with the ritual awards ceremony – in the presence of the prefect Paolo Ponta, lieutenant colonel Alfredo Beveroni for the Carabinieri and the Municipality of Piacenza with the councilor Matteo Bongiorni, as well as the presidents of the UITS Emilia Romagna Committee and of the city section – the 2nd regional trophy reserved for the personnel of the local, intermunicipal and provincial police forces of Emilia-Romagna, organized by the Piacenza section of the national shooting gallery. About fifty participants, divided between the six teams that animated the competition between Wednesday 8 and Friday 10 May: competing were the Local Police of Piacenza, Pontenure, Cesenatico, the Reno Borgo Unit of Bologna, as well as the Local Police Unione Val Nure Val Chero and Unione Montana Alta Val Nure.
On the top step of the podium, in the team classification, the Cesenatico team, followed by the Piacenza team and, in third place, the Bolognese team. In the women’s category, gold and silver for the Via Rogerio Command with the victory of Chiara Pizzasegola, followed by Ornella Simoni; bronze medal for Giuliana Maschi of the Val Nure Val Chero Union. Among the men, first place went to Lorenzo Brina from Cesenatico, second to Alfredo Stefani from Unione Montana Alta Val Nure and on the third step of the podium was Maurizio Casari from Nucleo Reno Borgo from Bologna. All the participating organizations expressed their thanks for the hospitality and organization of the national shooting venue, with which the Piacenza Command actively collaborated, like last year, for the realization of the event.
