Vaiti explained that “Our call would not have been useful for reasons of protagonism or mere presenteeism. We have been in the trenches for some time on these topics, unfortunately also following their ascending path. From the numbers that photograph poverty, which are increasingly inclement, to those relating to gender violence, be it physical, psychological or economic, a photograph emerges of a real social alarm that deserves as many forces as possible”.
