Marsala, tensions between MAC and Grillo administration are easing

Tempers are easing between the Marsala Artistic Cultural Movement and the Grillo administration.

After the controversies and the back and forth between the association and the Mayor Grillo on the lack of support from the municipal administration at the artistic exhibition “A Scurata”, the MAC this time, with a new note, expresses appreciation and gratitude to the municipal administration for having accepted the request for free patronage for the use of the E. Sollima Municipal Theater on 7 and 8 May, for the performance of the show “Waiting for Cyrano”, performed by Alessia Angileri and directed by Giacomo Frazzitta and Angileri.

“After the controversies of recent weeks, a positive sign of openness which, we hope, will lead to the identification of solutions so that the Municipality, also for the summer of 2024 – we read in the note – can contribute to the creation of the ‘A Scurata’ exhibition, which
we pride ourselves on defining the flagship of the cultural activities that take place in our city”.

“A special thank you to Councilor Salvatore Agate – concludes the MAC note – who did his utmost to ensure that the MAC and the Municipal Administration return to working profitably together as in the past”.
