This is the ordinance for the temporary regulation of traffic along some city streets and squares on the occasion of the Como – Cosenza football match scheduled for Friday 10 May at the Sinigaglia municipal stadium: the following road measures are envisaged.

Stadium area
The usual road measures implemented when the stadium is used for the home football matches of the “Como 1907” team are envisaged (managerial ordinance no. 238 of 08.09.2022).
In this case the measures in the stadium area are:
1. The ban on circulation and parking with forced removal for all categories of vehicles, including those serving disabled people equipped with a specific permit, along via Sinigaglia and viale Puecher (section between viale Vittorio Veneto and piazzale Somaini) where they will be mobile fencing systems have been installed which will also inhibit pedestrian passage;
2. The ban on circulation and parking with forced removal for all categories of vehicles, including those serving disabled people equipped with a specific sign along Viale Vittorio Veneto, with the exception of the authorized vehicles indicated below:
– Police Forces, 118, Fire Brigade and Bodies employed for needs related to the sporting event;
– Steward – staff on duty at the stadium;
– Referees;
– “ASF Autolinee” buses for transporting visiting fans along the “Via Colombo Parking – G. Sinigaglia Stadium” line and vice versa.
The aforementioned vehicles are authorized to transit against traffic in via Vittorio Veneto in the stretch from via Puecher to Largo Borgonovo.
3. The ban on circulation and parking with forced removal for all categories of vehicles, including those serving disabled people equipped with a specific sign in the following streets:
– Largo Borgonovo, viale Masia in the stretch between piazzale Somaini and viale Rosselli, piazzale Somaini.
4. Two-way traffic with transit permitted exclusively to residents and authorized persons along viale Masia, in the stretch between viale Rosselli and via Sinigaglia; in this case the vehicles that enter viale Masia from viale Rosselli will have the obligations to: give priority to vehicles passing there and turn right towards piazzale Santa Teresa;
5. The ban on access to via Campo Garibaldi with the exception of residents and authorized persons;
6. Ban on pedestrian transit between the Gardens and Lake area and Viale Vittorio Veneto, Largo Borgonovo. This interdiction will be carried out by installing a suitable fence.
The measures referred to in the previous points may be subject to modification by the Local Police, upon possible indication from the public security authority, in order to guarantee safe vehicular and pedestrian circulation in the area.
The following further obligations and prohibitions are also established:
1. Ban on transit and parking with forced removal for all categories of vehicles, including those serving disabled people equipped with a specific permit, along the streets of Campo Garibaldi, Vacchi and Martinelli;
2. Parking ban with forced removal for all categories of vehicles, including those serving disabled people equipped with a specific permit along via Recchi and viale Rosselli;
As an exception to the above, subject to assessment of the persistence of safety conditions, vehicles accompanying disabled people are permitted to access the stadium entrance. However, these vehicles will not be able to park within the area prohibited from parking and circulation.

There is also a ban on parking with forced removal for all categories of vehicles, including those serving disabled people equipped with a specific permit within the parking area in Via Colombo called “Lazzago” and adjacent to the Grandate railway station. -Breccia, with the exception of the authorized vehicles indicated below:
buses and private vehicles owned by fans accompanying the visiting team. By way of derogation from the existing prohibitions, these vehicles may park within the aforementioned area.
The stalls dedicated to hosting the visiting fans will be identified by specific signs and, if necessary, modulated in relation to concrete needs.
These obligations and prohibitions come into force from 2.30 pm on May 10th and cease to be effective when the roads covered by the aforementioned provision are made passable in safe conditions (removal of installed barriers and barriers).

Area Along the Lake
The obligations and prohibitions listed below may come into force at the end of the match and until the need ceases:
1. In the presence of particular situations relating to public order and safety, a traffic ban may be imposed for all categories of vehicles, including those serving disabled people equipped with a specific sign, in the stretch of Lungo Lario Trieste, piazza Cavour and Lungo Lario Trento, in the directional direction from Piazza Matteotti to the intersection with viali Rosselli/Recchi and vice versa.
2. Vehicles coming from via Torno/Sant’Agostino and via Foscolo, arriving in piazza Matteotti, will be directed towards via Leopardi. The same, in derogation of the existing prohibitions, will also be able to use the lanes reserved for LPT transit, along the via Sauro, viale Battisti and via Milano axis; for vehicles headed towards the Municipality of Torno, the route via Rezzonico, via Brambilla and piazza Amendola in the direction of via Torno is recommended; Via Cairoli will also be closed to vehicles leaving the Limited Traffic Zone.

In addition to these limitations, there is also the closure of Via Torno from midnight: the stop – which will last until 4am – serves to secure the collapsed side of the construction site on Monday afternoon. The closure has been confirmed which will inevitably have repercussions for the fans residing in the Lariano area. The closure starts at number 50 of via Torno for those arriving from Como and at number 52 for those arriving from Blevio

The TPL lines that normally pass along the prohibited routes will follow alternative itineraries, made known to the public through notices at the stops.

The Municipality and the local Police remind you that the ban on the consumption of alcoholic beverages in public areas is in force with the exception of those consumed in outdoor areas and those administered in glasses directly in public establishments.
