Legnano – Il Martino Crespi from Legnano, event manager for the big luxury brands, who has spectacular events under his belt in the Bel Paese and all over the world, including two gala dinners for the Oscar Academy, in Rome and Venice, pays homage to his city, with a great concert of soundtracks performed by the ARIA ensemble, which has achieved notable success at the Venice Film Festival and even in Paris and in the Luxor temple in Egypt.
The concert “ARIA: Oscar-winning music”scheduled for May 10th at Galleria Theater of Legnano, at 9pm, It is part of the multifaceted activity of Crespi, who is also a music producer, a professionalism and experience gained since he was young, when he organized concerts with Miguel Dell’Acqua at the Teatro Galleria dei Fratelli Borroni and in the Alto Milanese area and in the provinces of Varese and Como. Among Crespi’s realized projects and dreams is that of his own musical ensemble, which he has led for years, with the soprano Simona Rais, as producer and director: this is ARIA, a group specialized in film soundtracks which stands out for a lineup of great musicians from all parts of the world: Italy, France, Poland, Egypt.
“Music has no borders, explains Crespthe, and for this reason I wanted to give ARIA a multicultural matrix, with singers and virtuosos coming from distant countries, united by the universal language of great timeless melodies. Music, especially film music, offers emotions to be shared, pushing those who listen to identify with the story, and ARIA knows how to create this spell. Legnano remains in my heart. I am attached to my city and whenever I can I hang out with the many friends I still have here. For this reason I am happy to have organized this concert at the Galleria Theatre, a place very dear to me and to many of my fellow citizens. I actually started my career here and I’m happy to return as a protagonist.
The ARIA ensemble, which will present itself in a formation of 17 elements on May 10th at the Galleria Theatre, is fresh from the successes of Paris and Luxor, where it enchanted the public with new interpretations of famous film music. The ensemble will present a selection of film music, universal melodies, loved by adults and children, which counterpoint victories, epic feats and great stories of love and friendship. During these shows the audience, involved in this alchemy, does not take long to identify with the emotions, in an Oscar-worthy dream to be experienced with open eyes. There will be music for all tastes and all dreams: from the striking contrasts of Mission Impossible to the adventure echoes of the Pirates of the Caribbean, from the timeless compositions of Ennio Morricone to the melodic textures of Nicola Piovani, the refined harmonies of Nino Rota, and the memorable musical frescoes of Hans Zimmer. The singers will be Simona Rais, soprano, lead vocalist of the ARIA ensemble, the tenor Davide Benigno, the sopranos Elisa Maffi and Agnes Parlange, and the mezzo soprano Tea Franchi. The musicians: Enrico Pesce on piano, Stefano Serafini on trumpet, Arturo Garra on clarinet, Edmondo Romano on wind instruments, the virtuosos of the Polish string quartet Altra Volta Quartet, Daniele Bonaviri and Monica De Luca, who make up a duo of classical guitars, and the Egyptian double bass player Ahmad Osman.
