Prefect Marchesiello meets law students

The prefect Massimo Marchesiello guest of the Law department to explain to the students the activity of the Prefecture and in particular its role and the methods of accessing the prefectural career. Speakers together with him, on the afternoon of May 9th, i officials Sara Valentini and Andrea Fortunato for an orientation event at the Department, promoted by the Prefecture in collaboration with the University of Ferrara.

The speakers explored the different functions carried out by the Prefecture, a territorial government body which constitutes a branch of the Ministry of the Interior at provincial level, as well as describing the training path and skills necessary to undertake a prefectural career. During the meeting, the internship training offer available at the Government Territorial Office and reserved for students and graduates of the Unife Law Department was also illustrated.

The meeting, coordinated by Edoardo Caruso of the Commission for outgoing orientation of the University, in which the former rector Pasquale Nappi also participated, took place in a climate of great participation and interest on the part of the students, who had the opportunity to interact directly with Prefecture officials and acquire useful information for their professional future.

The initiative is part of a broader orientation project promoted by the Prefecture of Ferrara, aimed at encouraging dialogue between institutions and young people, with a view to bringing together and enhancing the opportunities offered by the public administration.
