Initiative of the Archdiocese of Rossano Cariati in preparation for the 50th edition of the Social Weeks of Catholics in Italy. The diocesan office for the pastoral care of health and work, in collaboration with the Union of Italian Catholic Jurists, section of Corigliano Rossano, has organized for 18 May 2024, at 9.30 am, in the hall of the coats of arms of the Archbishopric, in the historic center of Rossano, an event entitled “At the heart of democracy. Participating between history and future”. It resumes the theme proposed at national level for the important event. The meeting will be chaired by the lawyer Elvira Campana, president of the UGCI of Rossano Cariati. The opening of the proceedings is entrusted to the lawyer Daniela Palladinetti, member of the organizing committee of the social weeks and director of the social pastoral work office of the Diocese of Chieti Vasto, who will introduce the theme of the fiftieth social week. Professor Anna Lasso, Professor of Private Law at Unical will speak on “Costantino Mortati. The intangible value of the Constitution”, which will be followed by the speech of Don Massimo Alato, diocesan director of the social pastoral office and work on “Bishop Giovanni Rizzo and women’s work in the south”. The meeting will be concluded by Archbishop Mons. Maurizio Aloise.
