Tragedy a Vicenza in the late afternoon: in a road accident it is died a young motorcyclist.
The crash, very violent and perhaps due to a lack of priority, occurred at 6.20pm today, Thursday 9 May, in viale Trento (near the Xaverian Missionaries) and involved a Fiat Panda and a motorbike. The small car, coming from the North, was turning right and the impact with the motorbike, which was coming from the opposite direction, was extremely violent: the boy flew several metres.
The paramedics from Suem 118 immediately intervened on site and began resuscitation operations on the young motorcyclist, aged just 19. The maneuvers continued for an hour: unfortunately, despite the rescue efforts, the doctor had to declare the boy’s death.
During the rescue there were also moments of tension for some people who took photos of the place where a young life was lost. The firefighters who arrived from the station made the vehicles safe. The driver of the Panda was also injured and was transferred to hospital. Local police were on site to divert traffic and investigate the accident. Intervention and investigations are still ongoing.
