CREMONA – Commissioner for Coldiretti Cremona. The decision to dismiss the provincial leaders of the organization was taken in recent days at the regional level, bringing the commissioner Giovanni Benedetti (head of the Confederation’s organization area and regional director) in place of the former president Henry Locatelli in Cremona. At the origin of the ‘earthquake’ – as Benedetti himself explained – the failure to comply with the request made in a national level discussion with all interested partieswhich should have led to a tangible sign of discontinuity with the previous management, at least regarding the renewal of the board of auditors representing Coldiretti.
Agreement denied by the facts, with the reconfirmation of the directors and members of the board of auditors reporting to Giannenrico Spoldi, reconfirmed president on May 2. A line of action that the ‘regional’ deemed unacceptable, resulting in such a radical intervention. Benedetti will have to ferry Coldiretti Cremona towards new elections. «I will stay – he specified – for the time necessary to reactivate the management of our organization».
