Healthcare is Piedmont’s big infirmity: increasingly long waiting lists, shortage of staff and exhausted operators, a very expensive healthcare building program that is difficult to implement, little or no attention to local medicine. The Democrats are not loosening their grip on one of the most discussed and critical sectors of Alberto Cirio’s five-year period, which has been sifted through by the specific working table that the PD of the province of Cuneo has met regularly in the last 6 months. The fruit of this work was illustrated in recent weeks, during a crowded conference held in Savigliano and on Monday 13th it will be physically delivered to the press, to the representatives of healthcare workers and to the citizens present.
The critical points of regional healthcare and our proposals to improve the Piedmontese healthcare service have in fact been collected in a document, the “White Paper”, which will be delivered in front of the gates of the Santa Croce Hospital in Cuneo.
From 10:00 to 12:00 in front of the entrance on Via Bassignano, we organized a demonstration to promote the “White Paper on healthcare in the Granda”. From 12:00 to 13:00 in front of the entrance on Via Michele Coppino, a sit-in in solidarity with the workers of the sector will be held.
