Sensational a Pietralungawhere they will be well for the next administrative elections 4 candidates for mayor vying for the municipality of the upper Tiber village.

As already announced weeks ago, in these hours he has finally dissolved his reservations Gianluca Ortaliwhich will be supported by the list “Another Pietralunga” taking into account – he says – “of the push received from transversal groups of people and from many young people who have approached politics, with the aim of giving the Pietralungo community an administration in strong discontinuity with experiences that have always followed one another in the name of now outdated ideologies”.

The goal for Ortali – former opposition municipal councilor – it is a community on a human scale, which identifies the municipal building as everyone’s home and a new vision of administration made of collaboration, participation and openness towards all those who love Pietralunga”. This is the team of candidates: Giulia Bagiacchi, Roberto Benedetti, Katia Di Benedetto, Fabiola Fiorucci, Giacomo Fiorucci, Mirco Gragnola, Michele Martinelli, Donatello Meniconi, Federico Petricci, Luca Ruggeri.

While underlining the civic nature of the proposal however, he does not deny it personal friendship with the Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, several times as a guest of his family, centered on the same relationship of gratuitousness with which the mayoral candidate intends to place himself at the service of Pietralunga: “Which – he adds – it will however allow us to interact freely for the good of our Community with a true and consolidated relationship with higher institutional levels” .

Just yesterday (8 May), surprisingly, the candidacy of the former mayor of Pietralunga (from 1999 to 2009, before the Ceci era) also arrived Luca Sborzacchi, also supported by a civic list, “Pietralunga Project”.

With it the former mayor intends “build a different relationship with citizens than in the past. We believe that through this project we can bring something useful to citizens for the development of the territory, the improvement of the quality of life but above all for the future prospects of our country. The people of Pietralunga know that they live in an area that needs to be increasingly valorised, also given the growth of the village. The most urgent problem, however, is represented by demographic decline: policies aimed at the sustainable development of mountain territories are needed and a new project is needed for the future, with new ideas and solutions to needs”.

Ortali and Sborzacchi they therefore join the rivals of the “split” centre-left: Mirko Ceci, outgoing mayor hunting for the fourth term (supported by Action, Democrats for Pietralunga and Socialists for Pietralunga) and Francesco Rizzuti, former deputy mayor of Ceci (supported by Pd and Psi). The outcome of the final vote entrusted to the approximately 1700 voters of the village, at this point, truly becomes an unknown.
