His preys are young women who offer paid sex in apartments. His hunting territory is the neighborhoods close to the center of Brescia and Bergamo. His attack strategy is that of a telephone contact to make an appointment which then turns out to be a trap and his escape plan is based entirely on what he considers the reasonable certainty of not being reported.
The arrest
He’s a serial predator, chasing sex and money, the 23-year-old Senegalese arrested by the Flying Squad on charges of aggravated robbery and sexual assault in relation to at least three incidents against prostitutes that occurred between 2023 and 2024.
Despite the young age for those who investigate it is already «a serial robber of prostitutes». The Flying Squad of the Brescia Police Headquarters notified him of a precautionary custody order in prison for two attacks against girls who prostitute themselves in apartments in Brescia and for a third, attempted, against a young Brazilian woman who receives clients in an apartment in the center of Bergamo.
Mobile agents reached him in prison. In fact, he had already been arrested red-handed of a crime in Bergamo, after he had attacked and robbed a girl from the east. This is a Senegalese born in 2001, resident in Adro, who already in 2019, when he had recently come of age, had been reported for robberies and assaults against women offering paid sex.
His method was simple and was based mainly on the certainty, at least so he thought, that the victims would not report him. Using a specialized online portal he chose the girls based on the geographical area, the center of Brescia or Bergamo, and focused on women whose ads had recently been published. He contacted them for a date and then, after consummating the relationship, he did not pay the bill but instead took out the knife and demanded all the money the woman had in the house. He was targeting women who don’t stay long in each city and that, he imagined, they would not report him.
The attacks
In one of the cases the girl had refused to satisfy him and he had still forcibly demanded intercourse and for this reason He must also answer for sexual violence. In Bergamo, however, as soon as he entered the house, he pulled out the knife but the young woman’s reaction made him flee. After the flagrant arrest last March, the Mobile of Brescia examined the reports of similar episodes and tracked down the girls who had been victims. The investigations therefore made it possible to present the 23-year-old Senegalese with a much more difficult legal bill.
