On Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th May the ‘Vegan Festival’ returns to Ferrara for its eighth edition. The initiative was presented on Wednesday 8 May in the municipal residence during a press conference which saw the participation of the municipal councilor for productive activities, fairs and markets, the director of Confesercenti Alessandro Osti, and the organizer Alessandra Scotti.
A vegan festival is an initiative open to all, to learn about and get closer to an ethical diet and lifestyle in the rejection of any form of animal exploitation, for those who have already embraced this lifestyle, or for those who have not yet discovered the vegan world but wants to know more.
Vegan specialties will be available throughout the weekend (from breakfast to dinner) prepared by the restaurants in the dedicated “Vegan Food” area; you can visit the exhibition area, with stalls of jewelery made from recycled material, organic farming products, vegan chocolate, holistic products and much more.
There will also be a Conferences and Seminars area, expertly coordinated by Grazia Cominato of Radio Veg.it where writers, activists, doctors and speakers in general will take turns to address various types of issues, all linked to the world of animal rights and environmental sustainability.
The event is free to attend and there is no need to book access to the seminars or workshops.
