Following a meeting of the Conference of Group Leaders, it was decided to postpone the European and international session which was convened in these two days to the next Council.
The Chamber therefore unanimously approved the 2023 management report and the assessment of the 2024 budget forecast of the Valle d’Aosta Regional Council.
The total revenue for 2023, net of transfers and the 2022 surplus, amounts to 8 million 667 thousand euros. The allocation from the regional budget in favor of the Council amounts to 8.5 million euros, of which 8 million 45 thousand were allocated to cover current expenses while 455 thousand were allocated to capital expenditure. The total expenses for 2023, net of transfers and the surplus from 2022, amount to 7 million 650 thousand euros.
At the end of 2023, there was an administrative surplus amounting to 1 million 487 thousand euros: part of the surplus, equal to 887 thousand euros, was tied to repayment to the Region, while the remainder was set aside in anticipation of future disbursements of end of mandate in favor of the outgoing regional councilors.
