On May 10, 2024 at 10.00 am at the IIS “G. D’Alessandro” the awards ceremony promoted by the competition will take place Lions Club of Bagheria on the topic of road safety in Memory of Massimiliano La Portayoung victim of a road homicide that occurred in the Santa Flavia area in October 2020.
The competition is in its second edition and saw the participation of numerous students from secondary schools of the IIS “G. D’Alessandro”, Liceo “F. Scaduto”, IIS “Luigi Sturzo” institutes.
The commission composed of the President of the Bagheria Lions Club, five members of the Club and representatives of the La Porta family, will award prizes for an amount of 1600 euros, to be spent through vouchers for technological equipment from Megatech in Bagheria.
The President of LC Bagheria, Prof. Davide Piacentino, and all the members of the Club thank the La Porta family, the Directors of the Institutes who participated in the competition and in particular Prof. Angela Troia of the IIS “G. D’Alessandro ” for hosting the awards ceremony in the premises of the school he directs, Megatech for contributing to the prize, and all the kids who participated with great sensitivity in the competition.
