VARESE – Discounted rate for Varese visitors Villa and Panza Collection: until September 2024 all citizens of the Varese capital will be able to visit the FAI property on the Biumo hill at the price of 7.50 euros, or with a 50% discount on the entrance ticket to the villa. A special occasion for residents of Varese to discover the villa and its garden live an experience in contemporary art.
Agreement with the Municipality
Villa Panza, donated to the Fai by Giuseppe Panza di Biumo in 1996 and opened to the public in 2000, is an eighteenth-century residence that houses a famous collection of contemporary art, important temporary exhibitions of national and international artists and events such as concerts, conferences, workshops for schools and activities for families. The foundation’s initiative falls within the scope of the three-year memorandum of understanding signed a few months ago with the Municipality of Varese and is aimed at bringing the villa ever closer to the city. The agreement strengthens a long-standing collaboration with FAI for the dissemination and promotion of cultural initiatives in order to support the development of events and festivalsas well as discounted rates for using the museum.
