The Michelin Keys are born which, «like the Stars for restaurants, identify excellence in the Italian hotel experience». The first selection contained in the Michelin Guide released on May 7 indicates 146 reception facilities distributed in practically every region.
Risk at the top Of these, only eight have obtained the three Michelin Keys, the highest recognition. And in the very short selection of top hotels there is also Umbria. Waving the flag of the region is the Reschio Castle in Lisciano Niccone, a structure that over the years has welcomed Hollywood stars and divas, who have found refuge here especially in the summer season, discovering corners of Umbria, from Montone to Città di Castello, which without the extraordinary proposal of Reschio Castle they would hardly have discovered it.
Three Michelin Keys In addition to the Reschio Castle, the three Michelin Keys in Italy were obtained by the Jk Place in Capri, the Corte delle Maestà in Civita di Bagnoregio, Casa Maria Luigia in Modena, Rosewood Castiglioni del Bosco in Montalcino, Il San Pietro in Positano, the ‘Aman Venice and Cipriani A Belmond hotel also in Venice.
Three other Umbrian hotels in the Guide The selection of hotels also includes 31 structures to which the Two Keys have been assigned. And also in this case Umbria is included in the selection with I Borghi dell’Eremo di Piegaro. Finally, another 107 hotels have obtained a key and here is the Castello di Monterone in Perugia and the Vocabolo Moscatelli boutique, hotel and restaurant in Umbertide.
