TURIN – 36th Turin Book Fair: the State Police presents its activities.
36th INTERNATIONAL BOOK FAIR: THE STATE POLICE PRESENTS ITS ACTIVITIES
The XXXVI edition of the “International Book Fair” of Turin is about to kick off in the usual location of the “Lingotto Fiere”, with the inauguration ceremony scheduled for tomorrow 9 May. For the twenty-third consecutive year, the State Police will be present with an exhibition stand of over 80 m2 at the OVAL Pavilion, position V189, hosting an exhibition area with initiatives to promote legality and culture through meetings dedicated to authors in uniform and demonstrations of the various specialties. Visitors will, in fact, be able to obtain information on service activities and “touch” the working methods and technological equipment used in the most complex investigations. PoliziaModerna, the official monthly magazine of the State Police, will have a dedicated corner to raise awareness of the magazine and the editorial products it created and edited, such as the comic strip Il Inspector Mascherpa, the photographic volume Cani&Eroi – edited by the External Relations, Ceremonial and Studies Office historians – on the work of State Police dog handlers – and the volume Polizia e motori on historic cars. The stand has now become a traditional event also to present some editorial novelties created by policemen with a passion for writing, some of whom were already present in previous editions of the Salon with their own works, and returning to the Savoy event with “new releases” .
