In-depth analysis of vascular surgery and cardiology, comparison with other realities of central and southern Italy and management of the critical issues affecting the healthcare system: all aspects that will characterize the “Molise 2024 Know and Trust” event, the biennial symposium on vascular surgery and cardiology which it will be held from 9 to 11 May at the Grand Hotel Europa in Isernia. The initiative, under the scientific responsibility of Dr. Angela Rita Colavita and Dr. Luca Iorio, will see the participation of over 50 professionals from all over the peninsula. Today, cardiovascular diseases represent the leading cause of death in Western countries and primary and secondary prevention interventions reduce their incidence. Furthermore, the notable progress that has been made in the interventional, surgical and pharmacological treatment of cardiovascular diseases leads to an improvement in both patients’ quality of life and outcome. Finally, technological and pharmaceutical innovations become relevant in the management of the critical issues of patients with cardiovascular diseases. The same patients who, once at home, after the acute phase, can also be followed remotely.
MANAGEMENT, MAINTENANCE AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE OF THE HELISURFACE ELEVATION FROM THE ASREM. ASReM had announced it: the helipad will soon be back in operation. And after the necessary checks and procedures, this morning, the general director of the Molise Regional Health Authority, Giovanni Di Santo, signed the contract for the management, maintenance and technical assistance of the helipad located in the PO Cardarelli area of Campobasso. The service will be managed by the company SOLUTIONS SRL of Bari for three years. This will give concreteness to a reality that marks the turning point for the entire Molise region, and beyond. “We imagine that we can also be a point of reference for other regions – commented the general director, ASReM, Giovanni Di Santo – our site is also illuminated at night, so it will be usable 24 hours a day. An effort carried out with the support of the Molise Region and the Commissioner’s Structure, and which represents a further step towards improving our healthcare, making it increasingly valid and efficient and, above all, responding to the care needs of the communities”
ASREM PROTECT ITS MEDICAL HEALTH STAFF: Protect its staff, doctors and other healthcare workers, victims of attacks. This is one of the missions of the ASReM, whose Strategy Directorate has signed a new resolution whose main purpose is to guarantee internal security for healthcare professionals, especially in emergency situations. The regional healthcare company has identified and appointed two internal lawyers that among the various responsibilities with which they are invested they will have to deal with cases of aggression against white coats and other collaborators. “Our intention – specified the general director of ASReM, Giovanni Di Santo – is to guarantee the official prosecution for crimes related to attacks on health workers, avoiding that any ‘criminal’ can apply threatening pressure to induce the victim not to go forward with the complaint”. The ASReM was able to follow this path following the recent modification of the art. 583 quater of the penal code which provides for the ex officio prosecution of the crime of personal injury committed against the practitioner of a healthcare profession.
