Montalbano’s “Pitagora”, Nova Siri finalist in this national competition! Congratulations to the class and the professor. Fabian

Wednesday 8 May the awards ceremony for the schools selected for the eleventh edition of the Bank of Italy Award “Let’s invent a banknote”: a competition to give students and teachers the opportunity to reflect together on value of banknotes, considered not only as a payment instrument but as a vehicle for transmitting messages and values.

The theme chosen for this edition was “Measuring reality”.

As many as 1009 Italian institutes presented their own sketch to win the cash prize intended for strengthening educational activities.

There Lucanian jury evaluated 208 sketches from schools in Puglia, Campania and Basilicata.

Between nine sketches selected by the Potenza jury (three for primary schools, three for lower secondary schools and three for upper secondary schools) there is the one created by“Pitagora” higher education institute of Montalbano, Nova Siri.

There 2nd BA class of the Artistic High School was a finalist in the competition.

The students, led by prof. Fabiano, they designed a banknote combining knowledge and know-how!
