Railways: until 8 June ‘Central Milan-Bologna’ also stops in Casalpusterlengo

Milan, 7 May. The Trenitalia Tper (Emilia-Romagna passenger transport) train 2475, from Milan Centrale to Bologna, departing at 5.20 pm, will also stop at Casalpusterlengo (Lo) station at 5.58 pm until Saturday 8 June. This will therefore make it possible to overcome the cancellation of the stop in the Lodi area of Trenitalia train 2595, departing from Milan Rogoredo at 5.41pm for Livorno which for a few days and until 8 June will not make any stops on the Lombardy route.

“The agreement between the Lombardy Region and Trenitalia – explains the regional councilor for Transport and Sustainable Mobility, Franco Lucente – compensates for the inconvenience of the many travelers who used this train to return to Casalpusterlengo. Citizens who use the railway line every day and who would have had considerable difficulties due to the cancellation of the Milan-Livorno stops in Lombardy. A result obtained thanks to the commitment of the Lombardy Region, the fruitful discussions with RFI and Trenitalia Tper and the interest of the municipal administration of Casalpusterlengo”.

The Lombardy Region, Trenord and RFI are also studying a definitive and permanent solution, with the possible activation of a train to Piacenza included in the timed system structure and departing from Milan Rogoredo at 5.31pm.
