AVEZZANO – “With Telespazio, Abruzzo is a protagonist of the Space economy in Europe in partnership with countries such as France and Spain. The Space economy is becoming increasingly important for the global economy and will also have a decisive impact on other sectors of our economy such as agriculture, industry and energy, as well as defense and security. It opens new perspectives for the economic growth of our Region through the programmatic lines of the next few years outlined by the president Marcus Marsilio“.
Thus, in a note, the regional councilor for Productive Activities and Work Tiziana Magnacca participating this morning at the Fucino Space Center in the presentation of the U-ELCOME project, which involves the use of drones for the transport of medicines in villages that are difficult to access or in remote areas.
Experiment which will involve the municipalities of Celano, Rocca di Mezzo, San Demetrio ne’ Vestini and Castelvecchio Subequo.
“It is a center of excellence that makes us proud in a continental context that sees Abruzzo at the center of Europe. A project that has direct repercussions on the territory with the aim of bringing the health service closer to the needs of citizens by responding to the need for proximity with such an important technological partner resulting from the agreement between Asl1, the municipalities of the area of the Select Committee of mayors of the ASL and the Sirente Velino regional park”, concludes councilor Magnacca.
